Young Woman Killed in Hit and Run Vehicle Accident in Fort Worth, Texas

Charayla McMilan, twenty-one years old, was hit and killed by a motor vehicle on Interstate 35W in Fort Worth, Texas on Sunday morning, February 10, 2013.

Ms. McMilan was a passenger in a vehicle when she she became ill.  The driver pulled over and when she opened the door, she was struck by a motor vehicle and killed.  The suspect who hit the victim did not pull over or stop at the scene of the accident.  Police are investigating the hit and run accident and witnesses described the suspect vehicle as a black pickup truck.

Ms. McMilan, a mother of a one year old daughter, was scheduled to graduate from nursing school on the following Monday.  Our prayers are with her family.
