Waxahachie Police Officer Killed in Motor Vehicle Crash

Police officer Josh Williams was tragically killed in Waxahachie, Texas on July 28, 2012 after his patrol car was struck by a Chevy Suburban sport utility vehicle.  Officer Williams was responding to a disturbance at a fast food restaurant at around 1:30 a.m. when the car crash occurred.  The driver of the Chevy Suburban slammed into the patrol car in the parking lot of the restaurant.  The Chevy Suburban did not have its lights on and police believe alcohol may have played a factor with the driver of the Suburban.

Officer Williams served 17 years on the police force, and leaves behind his wife and three children.
