Dallas, Arlington, and Garland, Tx Fare Poorly in Recent Car Crash Study

Allstate Insurance just released its 8th annual Allstate America’s Best Drivers Report™ rating various cities in the United States for automobile driving safety.  Out of 200 of the largest cities in population in the United States, Dallas ranked No. 167 on the list (with number 1 being the city with the fewest vehicle crashes and number 200 being the city with the most).

The statistics get even worse.  According to Allstate's report, Dallas, Tx motor vehicle drivers are likely to have an automobile accident once every 7.5 years on average — almost 33 percent higher than the national average of one car crash every decade.

Only two big Texas cities fared worse than Dallas in Allstate's report - Garland at 7.1 years between automobile accidents and Arlington at 7.4 years on average between automobile accidents.
