
At around 12:30 pm on May 19, 2015, a severe trucking accident occurred when an 18 wheeler clipped another 18 wheeler and then crashed into an RV hauling a Jeep on Northbound Interstate 37 just outside of Mathis, Tx. The crash caused the RV to jackknife and flip into the median and caused the 18 wheeler to roll onto its side. The crash also caused northbound IH-37 to close while DPS troopers responded to the scene of the trucking accident.
Faith Hubbard of Forth Worth, Tx, 49 years old, was tragically killed in the truck accident. Her husband Terry Hubbard and the driver of the eighteen wheeler were taken to the hospital for personal injuries sustained in the crash.
The eighteen wheeler was driving from Raymondville, Tx to Lubbock, Tx and hauling 58 head of cattle, of which 14 of the cattle were also killed in the trucking accident.
